Today, the weather was absolutely beautiful for the Chicagoland Speedway/Route 66 Raceway Easter Egg Dash. We had the largest crowd in the four year history of the event. I don't have the exact count, however it was in excess of 400 people. With the Easter Bunny in Gatorade Victory Lane and our mascot Dash roaming the grounds the kids were having a great time. At Noon, the kids had the Dash for the Easter Eggs which took place in the infield camping ground. We had long lines in Gatorade Victory Lane as the kids (and the parents in many cases) had photographs taken with the Easter Bunny . Although the lines were long, we were able to get everyone through rather quickly. It was a fun day and R.A.C.E. (our charitable foundation) raised some money.
