![]() Well, the unseasonably warm weather bug has struck again. With weather temperatures predicted to hover around 40 degrees all week, this weekend's GLX Snocross racing has been cancelled. It is hoped, with cooler temperatures predicted for next week, that snow can be made and racing resumed the following weekend. All the results from Saturday's racing have been posted and can be seen here. All the photos from the races can be viewed here. To order any photo(s) from this weekend's action please click here or click on the Ordering tab at the top of the page. ![]() On Thursday, Janet and I will be participating in the pre-season offsite meeting/workshop for the Chicagoland Speedway/Route 66 Raceway. Since Janet and I do not work in the office, this workshop gives us the opportunity to learn about the annual goals and plans for the upcoming season. We look forward to this workshop every year. Last year, Brett Bodine, from NASCAR, gave a presentation on the changes to the car specifications that was fascinating. While the media touted the new Chase rules (that was easier for the fans to understand than drag coefficients), the technical side which made the racing and hence, the on-track product better, was much more interesting to me. This will be fun. ![]() On Saturday, Janet and I will be attending the 17th Annual Route 66 Raceway Awards Banquet. For us, this was a very successful drag racing season. For all our ET Bracket Race and Junior Dragster winners, congratulations for a job well done. We will post pictures from the event. Don't forget that for the first time at Route 66 Raceway, ISOC Amsoil Championship Snocross racing will be coming on February 20-21, 2015. The title sponsor for this event has just been announced and it is now the Hollywood Casino Snocross National. Information for this event can be found by clicking here.
