Its been two months "off" from photography! However, like all racing there has been a lot things going on behind the scenes. In my motorsports arena, our friend Gregg McKarns left Rockford Speedway and recently purchased the ARCA Midwest Tour. This brings Gregg back to his roots of a touring series. His father once owned the Artgo Series. On the GLX Snocross front, things are starting to heat up, including the weather! Due to the warmer than usual weather, they have been unable to make snow. So, the December 27th first race has been cancelled. The plan is to start making snow soon with the new first race of the season being on January 3, 2015. The good news this year is that the Amsoil Championship National Snocross Tour is coming to my hometrack, Route 66 Raceway February 20-21, 2015. Tickets for this event can be purchased on the Rt. 66 Raceway website ticket page. Inside seating for Saturday has been sold out, but indoor seating for Friday is still available. I hope to see everyone there! On the homefront, its been a busy time getting ready for the upcoming 2015 season. My equipment took a beating last year and things had to be repaired, cleaned and made ready. Once we start in January, the various forms of racing we cover will continue all the way to mid-October. My batteries are all re-charged and Janet and I are looking forward to getting started. We want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season and let's go racing! Here are a few snocross images from last year. To see all our last year's racing images please click here.
